CIK Telecom Inc. was founded in 2003 in Toronto, Canada, emerging from the advanced technologies and research from Onet System Inc., a leading consulting company in Canada specializing in telecommunications. CIK employs more than 100 staff with offices located in Xi’an, China, and locations in Canada - Vancouver, Montreal and head office in Toronto, Ontario. CIK is registered as a licensed carrier with the CRTC (Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission) since 2003.

CIK’s initiative is to provide innovative, inexpensive and reliable telecommunications and multi-media services to large ethnic communities across Canada and currently provides service to more than 30,000 customers of December, 2011. Major products include High Speed Cable and DSL Internet, IP Home Phone, IP TV, Long Distance, Cell Phone Call-Back, Fax to Email and SMS services.

CIK continually invests in network infrastructure to improve service quality and coverage. The CIK High Speed Cable Internet network covers the Great Toronto Area including Toronto, York, North York, Etobicoke, Scarborough, Markham, Richmond Hill. Brampton and Mississauga. Plans for early 2012 include offering 50M High Speed Cable service and to expand the network to 40 other major cities in Ontario and across Canada to include Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary and Edmonton. CIK High Speed DSL internet covers most of Ontario and Quebec. The IP Home Phone network covers the major Canadian cities and surrounding areas and offers many features.

Current services:

High Speed Cable Internet: CIK High Speed Cable Internet uses the Rogers/Cogeco/Shaw Cable TV line to transmit the internet signal. CIK internet service covers the Greater Toronto Area. The internet speed is up to 50Mbps and includes unlimited downloads.

High Speed DSL Internet: CIK High Speed DSL Internet uses a Bell/Telus phone line (copper loop) to transmit the internet signal. CIK internet service covers Canada’s four major provinces: Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia and Alberta. The internet speed in can reach up to 24Mbps and includes unlimited downloads.

IP Home Phone Service: IP Home Phone service offers customers an affordable phone service that includes free local calling within twenty of Canada’s major cities and also includes many traditional features like voice mail, caller name display, call waiting and call forwarding.

Cell Phone Call-Back: Cell Phone Call-Back is a tailored service for cell phone users who have an Unlimited Incoming Call plan with their cell phone companies. Customers can access the call back system by following some easy instructions, and turn their unlimited inbound minutes into outbound calls.

Long Distance: CIK Long Distance provides customers an inexpensive and simple way to make long distance calls. For online account management, customers can register their phone number, check call records and recharge their accounts. To connect a call, customer only needs to dial a local access number first and then the destination number.

Fax to Email Service: CIK’s proprietary Virtual E-Fax service is a world-leading fax technology which combines Telephone, Fax and Email as a united feature. It can transfer fax content to customers' email boxes with almost 100% accuracy. Anywhere in the world, a customer can always receive a fax.

IP TV: CIK has developed a multi-media platform which allows a customer to watch TV shows, VOD (Video On Demand) and Internet videos. A STB (Set Top Box) is all that is required to be set up to access all these services.

Our call centres are language friendly, enabling customers to reach the correct support teams and receive top-notch customer service and technical support in quick, efficient time in the customer’s preferred language. Currenty, CIK offers support in many languages including English, French, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Bengali and Farsi. As Canadians from all communities continue to become CIK customers, additional staff and languages will be hired.

30 day guarantee – This is a CIK standard policy. All services provided by CIK come with a 30 day guarantee, available from the date of activation. Customers have the right to cancel the service within 30 days from the time of sign-up and all monthly fees and hardware purchases are refundable.

Hardware lifetime warranty – For all hardware purchases from CIK, a lifetime warranty is included. Should any issues arise, CIK will replace any defective hardware free of cost for any active customer.

7 x 24 hour Support – CIK provides 7 x 24 support, over the phone and email. For some customers who prefer customer service in less-spoken language, we have special staff available the majority of the time.

Advanced Technical Ticketing System – CIK has established a highly structured ticketing system to resolve all issues. From Agent to Supervisor to Manager, all issues are handled in a fast, efficient manner to take care of technical and customer service issues.

The Future:

Currently, CIK is applying for a BDC (Broadcasting Distribution Undertaking) license, which once approved, will allow CIK to provide local TV channels. Also, CIK will be joining the CNOC( Canadian Network Operator Consortium).

CIK’s original 5 year R&D development plan, initiated in 2009, will bring customers a series of brand new products such as IP TV, Video phone, Online Gaming, and a Home Monitoring System.
