Mailaka Internet began as a dream to provide an excellent Internet experience for the masses at rock bottom but profitable prices - without the catch of charging for customer service like NetZero and Juno. Or making people pay for a year at a time to get the good rate.

After running an Internet company for almost five years, we have learned how to do things right and what to avoid at all costs. Quality is always most important. We have found that people will try a service with a low price, but people won't stay if the quality is not comparable or better than other Internet Service Provider(s). Because of that, we always keep the customer's needs foremost in our minds.

Our low priced Internet is not stripped down. Each account comes with unlimited dialup access, within the terms of the Use Policy, of course, 10 mb of personal web space and one email account. Unlike many ISPs, we automatically include Spam and virus protection with all of our email accounts.

Many people ask how we can keep the price so low and still make a profit. We always look at our costs and keep them as low as possible. For instance, we do not have a big fancy office. Just one that will do. Our techs do not have $500 flat screen monitors. They have basic 17" monitors that allow them to do their job efficiently in assisting our customers. With that said, when it comes to things that affect our members, we do not cut corners. The email servers, authentication servers and all the equipment that our customers use are state of the art. Using top quality equipment cuts down on customer problems and reduces the amount of tech support necessary.

Speaking of tech support. Ours is second to none. Tech support answers emails in less than 60 minutes and usually it is under 25 minutes. Phone calls are answered on the third ring or less. Our phone system does not allow customers to hold as so many find this extremely aggravating. In the rare times a customer must leave a voice mail, we return those calls promptly. Usually faster than even our email response time. Our techs are real people, speaking English, not computereze.
